Jerry -- I, too, am a descendant of Robert Ring of Salisbury, MA. He and Richard Ring were brothers in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England. Robert is the father of the "northern Rings" (mostly ME,MA,NH), while his nephew Joseph (the son of Richard) is the father of the southern Ring line (VA,NC and beyond). Interestingly, nephew Joseph stopped off for a visit with his Salisbury relatives on his way to settle in Jamestown,VA.

Like you, I have a lot of info about Robert, a little about Richard. I believe they had at least one brother, Benjamin. I have nothing about their parents.
