Howdy again

I should have waited longer before my previous message,
because now I have the proof, except for one tiny point.

I found Wesley's marriage record, but it surprised me.
He married in Fairbury, Jefferson Co NE on 1902-03-13 Ada
Roe. He is shown age 31, born Saline Co IL, and she is
shown age 21, born KY.

I checked the 1900 census for Ada Roe age 19, and found
her in Thayer Co NE, listed as sister-in-law of Lew White.
Lew's wife was Nancy F born 1871.

Jefferson's daughter Nancy Frances married Lewis White in
1889. Thus this Ada Roe must be Jefferson's daughter. And
since Ida is listed with Jefferson in MO, Ada is not the
same as Ida, but is another daughter.

The 1900 census says Jefferson's wife Elzada has had 12
children, 9 still living. I know of 10 of them, and I know
that one of those 10 died in 1897. Only three children are
with them, so I assumed the other 6 living were the ones I
already knew about, even though I don't have death dates
for all of them. But now I see that Ada must be another
one, which means one of the daughters I lose track of must
have died before 1900.

The only question is why Ada is listed as Roe. She is
shown as single on the 1900 census, but I think she was
probably divorced. I don't have a Rigsby/Roe marriage in
NE, but there aren't a lot of NE records available.

So, except for the Roe marriage, I'm certain Wesley's wife
was Jefferson's daughter Alzada (or more likely Elzada),
who was called Ada.
