I am a great great granddau. of Adniron Chamlee and just found other Chamlee descendants. I have a copy of an old portrait of Emily Thatch Chamlee, Adniron's wife, with her son David Samson, about five. I would be glad to share. It's not great, but it's something. Her mother was Mariah Thatch and was a Cherokee medicine woman. She passed it down to dau. Emily and Emily passed it down to dau. Julia, who passed it to son Tommie Scott. Would love to find out what happened to some of those recipes. They had a salve for skin cancer. Also have some family stories about David Samson in wild west, from Bill Chamlee's son.
