hi i am trying to locate any info for a friend onthe family of john[in texas]it is said that on the way from mexico to conn he got sick and sayed on in texas while his family went back to conn.he married a mexican lady and settled down in calhoun county,and was caught there by the war and enlisted in the 2nd texas cav CSA.THIS IS ALL WE KNOW ,IF ANY OF THIS ties in with anybody please respond.thanks ahead of time.
