Anyone know of South Carolina or Coffee County Alabama Richburgs, possibly Hugh, who were from South Carolina and could be parents of Harriet? Our family history says they were Huguenots. I have access to all census but can only find Hugh Richburg age 70 in 1860 Coffee Co. Alabama. May not be hers. There is also an Ely, William M. and James M. who might be brothers. The old history spells it Richbourg. Children of Harriet and William Daniel Prescott were all born in Alabama, and they named one son Hugh. Any help I can be to anyone else with census info, glad to help.
