I am attempting to locate the descendants of Asa L Richards.
I know he had two daughters Mary Richards Martin and Maggie Richards Hammer. Mary's last known location was Dallas TX with husband Sam W. Martin. Maggie's last known location was Lubbock TX with husband Garland G. Hammer. I am fairly sure both are deceased. The reason for my search is to save a road they fought the Corps of Engineers to keep open back in the 1950's which the US govt and Hill county has now closed. The Richards girls had sued the US Govt in 1958 to regain control over their land on the shores of Lake Whitney.
