My GG Grandpa is Jourdan J Richard (1875 - 1931).

Both of his parents died in Zimbabwe:
Noel Antoine Richard (1835 - 1900)
Mary Elizabeth Seymour (1836 - 1905)

Noel Antoine Richard's dad:
Narcisse D Richard (1801 - 1888) also died in Zimbabwe.

Narcisse's mom:
Anne Marguerite Babin (1770 - 1829) also died in Zimbabwe.

Does anyone have any clue what they were doing there? They were from the Mississippi and Louisiana area and from what I could tell, their bodies were returned to the states for burial.

Noel Richard and his wife Mary Seymour also had (at least) 3 kids that died in Africa and one that died in Russia.

Their names were:
Robert L Richard (1866 - 1900) died in Age Africa
Antoine J Richard (1863 - 1905) died in Age Africa
Harry Edward Richard (1858 - 1912) died in Zimbabwe
Mary Adelia Richard (1859 - 1890) died in Russia

If anyone has any information on these people, I would love to know more!
