My name is Janice and I am a decendant of John Riach who married Margaret Murdoch, they had a son John Riach b1778 who married Beatrice Douglas, they then had a daughter Beatrice Riach b1813 who married John Riddoch,

You say you have a lot of info on the Riach family this family came mainly from Rothes/Rothiemay.

Any information you could give me would be most welcome.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Kindest regards
Janice

I am looking to expand the Riach's and am hoping you are able to help.

Hello Linda, My husband, Andrew Riach, is the great grandson of Joseph Riach. Joseph's first wife, Margaret Mckinnon, died in 1897 giving birth to Drew's father, Alan. Joseph married Isabella Gray, the housekeeper, and that should solve your anomaly. His son, Joseph Riach was not married according to our family tree and committed suicide in 1918. Do hope this information helps you.
