I am seeking information regarding the offspring of Pierre Numa Riviere whose surname has been spelled in various ways. These individuals are Ernest, Anatole, Amanda, Marie, Francoise, Nelville, Charles, Louis and Emile. It is likely that, just as their surname has been spelled in different ways, their given names may also appear with other spellings. I believe that Nelville Riviere (Revia, Revier, Reviere, etc.), who was born in Louisiana in 1856, was probably my great grandfather.
