Hi,
My name is Mary Brandt Reiber. I grew up in the Pgh. subburds. My Father was Frank Brandt, married to Flora Steighner, who was related to the Reott family in Herman, PA. I also remember, as a child, my father often spoke of the Osche family. He took us to the farms in Great Belt and Herman. I saw your photo of the farm. I have a couple of photos on my site of the Steighner gathering when my Dad was still a baby. That means it was taken in about 1910. I am a descendent of Niklaus Riott Germany and Eva Bart, France.(I have her baptismal certificate) I have a number of pictures and documents for anyone interested. These were obtained from time spent with Caroline Osche Beck in Herman, PA. She had an old trunk brought with Niklaus Sr and his three sons when they came to the US. Also, she still had the organ/piano which they brought with them. I am going to post one of the pictures of their original farmhouse on my family tree. I live in So. California.

Hello Phillip Jr. my name is Sheila and I am Theodores daughter one of them anyway but I am the youngest I guess you stop thinking about age which I also know that you are younger than me because you was a screaming baby back then LOL Have you been approached or the person write you? Jack Reott? I will catch my breath before I write anymore. There is so much that I want to ask something besides Joey and Phillip and the rest of the family I would like to know who is still you know here and I know it would be worse for you to have to tell me. I have a cousin (Helen Harker) who married a Lary Reotts.

Last i heard she lived in Fullerton Ca.

Can you be any help to me in finding this lady? I believe she is avout my age or a little younger (I'm 80 1 this yoear)

The only time I met this lady was in 1944

My father is one of the 14 children of theirs. His name is Theodore Francis Sr. ( My little brother is named after him)
Everyone called him Ted and my brother was Teddy. He doesn't like my 2 sisters and I calling him that at 35. Anyway my grandma Martha passed on right after my father did. I believe the same year. I guess she was tired of losing her children and of course my grandfather had been dead for years, since 83. And where do or who do you come from in the Reott family. (Charles, John, and who is this Jack Reott person. I would like to know just how much you guys know about are ancestors.
