I had good response on my other e-mail to this message board. Now I am looking for any descendants of my one RENNEKER family member who stayed back in Germany while all the rest emigrated to Ohio and Stearns County, Minnesota-- Joseph Renneker, b 1868, at the Neuenkirchen, Oldenburg (near Damme).
I have no further information on him except there is a family story that he had 5 sons. But I do not know his wife's name, or any information on his children, or especially where he moved to after his marriage (he does not seem to have resided at Neuenkirchen-- none there today ).
I welcome any information and especially I would like to have names of living descendants for when I try to visit in the Neuenkirchen region. Thanks for any comments or responses.
