Joseph RENN and Caspper FEIOCK began their bottling works in 1870 at 149 State Street (corner of State and Oak). FEIOCK left the business about 1876 and Joseph RENN sold out his interest to his son Joseph RENN, Jr. in 1879. The bottled ale and mineral water.
Joseph RENN was born in Rhenish Prussia on July 19, 1829. He came to New Albany in 1836, and worked on the Ohio River for some years. He entered the grocery and produce business in 1853 until he went into the bottling business. After he sold the bottling business to his son he operated a saloon. ....
