Jesse Reid (b.1803 Wake Co. NC) was the son of John Clement Reid/Read. Jesse first married Jennie/Jane Cottrell and when she died, Jesse married Lucy Minor. Here are the children:

Henry - died in infancy
Alexander - died in infancy

Green Hezekiah was born Jan. 20, 1845. His family called him Green, but he used the initials H. G. Reid all his life.
