I am doing a family tree on the Reichert's
.
I had a great-great grandmother named
Catherina Elisabtha Mohrlang (Russia ) she married

Nicolaus Geist (Russia)

I don't know how many children they had, but my great-grandmother Anna Maria was one of them.

Anna Marie (Maria) Geist was born 17 May 1856 in Woronesch Russia.

She married John Reichert in Huesenbach South Russia in 1875.

John( Johannes) Reichert was born at Walter on the Volga River in Russia 30 April 1855.

His parents were John (Johannes) Reichert b < 1823 and Catharina Elisabetha Wiederhold b. < 1823. They had 9 children.

Do you know how I can research this further, or do you have any info?

In 1892 John and Anna fled Russia in fear of being sent to Siberia for Religous persecution. They came over on the Suevia. They arrived at Ellis Island 4 Jan 1892.

They had 11 children, 7 of which were born in Russia. I have some descendant information. They first were in Nebraska and then went to George Iowa. They were in ND and SD as well. John Reichert (b. 1855) was a Baptist preacher who went around and did church plants. That is why they moved around so much. They ended up in Tyndall SD. Anna and John are both buried at the Tyndall Bon Homme Cemetery.
