My great grandfather lived in Chicago during the latre 1880 and 1942 when he died. He came over here from Mechlinburg, Germany and had several brothers whom we have lost contact with. His name is Wilhelm Rehfeldt and he married Lena Breu from Germany. He left Germay when he was about 20 yrs. He also served under Kaiser in the german army. He was the yougest of the children. I don't know the other names. Wilhelm is supposed to have swam a shore at New York while the others he thought may have sailed to South America or so he thought. Can you help me?
