I am searching for my information on my Great Great Grandfather Benedict Rego. He came to the US from France. I don't have much to go on, in fact, he may have even altered his name somewhat when he immigrated. I have learned that many people from Portugal moved to France because it was the seat of culture. I would love to hear from anyone who may have some information to share.
