Cuban/Spanish connection

I am so excited to have found this board. I too am starting my search for filled in blanks in my family tree and find I have alot of work to do. I am going to post as much as I know to see if it strikes a cord with anyone. The unfortunate part of this is that I lack names. But here goes: My father, Pedro Abel Rego, immigrated here from Cuba along with his brother Luis Rego. My grandfather Jose Juan Rego had sailed to Cuba in the early 1900 to create in import/export business with his brother who was in Galicia Spain with the rest of the Rego family. Now heres where it gets sketchy for me because I don't know the names of anyone in Spain, but I do know that there were 3 brothers and a sister. So one brother stayed in Spain, the other, my grandfather went to Cuba, and the other went to Argentina and allegedly became some type of organized crime guy. He left the family under bad circumstances and was never heard from after his departure from Spain. Now to my understanding, there is still quite a bit of Rego's left in Galicia. If any of this sounds remotely familiar to anyone, I would love to hear about it. I am basically looking for connections with those left in Spain, and any in Argentina. It would be interesting to see if those in Spain had originated in Portugal. Who knows?
Thanks and happy searching!
