DEATH REMOVES CIVIL WAR VET
Frank G. Reeves, 71 veteran of the civil war and prominent figure in local politics for years, died Wednesday night at his residence, 1250 Michigan avenue, of organic heart trouble. His wife, three daughters, Nellie, Myrtle, and Florence, and three sons, Edward R. Reeves, William A. Reeves and J. F. Reeves, survive.
Mr. Reeves served throughout the war in the First New Hampshire battery. He came to this state in 1865. He had resided in Columbus since 1886. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the residence. Burial at Green Lawn cemetery.
