Aunt Eileen and I have been in contact since we engaged in an email conversation about her book and former husband August Reetz. Originally I saw an ad for a copy of the family history book available from the Anchorage Library, I contacted them about it and received the copy. Then someone in an Alaska governmental department of some sort, having seen the library correspondance, ended up contacting me about a picture of Augie Reetz for a report, memorial or some such on his service to Alaska in his work capacity. That led to me asking my Mom about her last known address for Aunt Eileen, and I put her and the Alaska person in contact. Since then Aunt Eileen and I have corresponded on and off. I have driving ponies, and I work on a computer all day, so the last thing I want to do on my time way from work is to get on a computer.
