Family of William Reed and Elizabeth Lucindia Martin.William Reed, born 13 March 1820 Tenn. died 10 April 1897 Clarksville, Johnson County, Ark.William married Elizabeth Lucindia Martin, born 21 May 1824 Mo. died 17 May 1908, Clarksville, Ark. William and Elizabeth are both buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery in Clarksville. We are not sure of the time when William moved into Arkansas and so far we haven't been able to find which County in Tenn. William was born, or the name of his parents. Elizabeth according to family was to have come into Arkansas with several brothers. We have no proof of this either..We do know they were parents of nine children..
1. John Reed, born 1844, Ak. married Rebecca Laster, born 1846 Johnson co. Ak. the daughter of James Hence Laster and Sarah Patrick.(eight children )

3. Mary, born 1847
4. Mose Andrew Reed, born 21 April 1852 Ark. died 1934, Hartford, Ark. Mose married Zieisha Ellen Mabray born 13 Oct. 1854 Ak. died 1934. Zerisha was a daughter of Phillip Mabray and Elizabeth Lucindia Elder, Phillip was a son of Joseph Mabray and Hannah Whitworth of McNairy Co. Tenn.
5. Charlie Reed born 1854, Johnson Co. Ak.
6. Sarah Reed, born 1856, Johnson co. Ak. married first to Jim Kendall and second to Ash Swift.
7.Dora Reed, born 1859 Johnson co. Ak. died 1943. Dora married John T Martin, born 1853 Clarksville, Ark. died 1939 both buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery. John T Martin was a son of Edwin Martin and Margaretta ..?( five children)
8. Dilla Reed, born 1861 Johnson County, Ak. married Abraham Mabray.
9. Elimine(Emma) Reed, born 24 May 1869 Johnson County, Ak.died at the age of 101, 2 Jan. 1971 Johnson County, Ak. She married John Askins..Would like to hear from anyone thats researching this Reed Line. Gladys Turman
