Porter, James at Martin's Ferry Inn or tavern

Surnames: PORTER, REED
James PORTER and his family had an "Inn or Tavern" at Martin's Perry on "the old Pike Road" between the years of 1850 and 1853. Is there any resource or information where I could find out more about this venture? Research that I have done notes that there were many "Pike" roads, however I believe it would have been the "Martin's Ferry & Colerain Pike"

James' wife was Katrine (or Catherine) REED, daughter of Phillip REED.
