My name is Frederick Rector, and I am from Virginia. My Father is George Rector and was from Upper Marlboro MD. His Mother was Helen Rector but remarried in 1930. My father grew up a Merrick. My fathers dad left the family when my father was 2 mo. old. He had one blood brother and his name was Eugene who died in 1998. I have gathered that my father's dad relocated back to the Ashville NC area and had children after he remarried. I cannot find a thing on my linage of Rectors. Any one out there with info that would get me started would be a great help?
