I am looking for any family memeber related to the late Thomas J Rector and wife Melissa Ann Roberts of Madison County North Carolina town of Marshall. I grew up in Marshall and have been researching the Rector family for may years. Thomas J and Melissa had the following children. Alfred, Adoulphas (my line) Edith, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth, Margaret, William Lafayette, Daniel Enoch, Laura, and Mary. Thomas J father was Lewis thats all I have on Lewis at this time. Thomas J and Melissa are buried at Frank Rector cementary in Rector Corners in Marshall along with Adoulphas and his wife Melinda and many other family memeber. I am still researching these names. Adoulphas and Melinda both died in 1900 with in months of each other leaving my grandpa Harley Jones Rector and his sister without parents at a young age he was 5. I have been told that some family memeber took the smaller children in and kept them and some were adopted.
