Lena Graham b 9/7/1874 Omemee Ontario arranged for a mid-wife to come to her home in Omemee and she gave birth to Lillian Rea Graham b 7/22/1903 . Lillian's name Rea was the surname of the mid-wife who came from Lindsay Ontario. The town of Omemee was entirely Irish. I would like to find out more about this Rea Family whose occupation was mid-wife, as I was named Rea to honour my Aunt Lillian (now deceased).

Dear Rea, I am searching for Reas that came to Canada from Ireland also. My mother was named Lillian after her grandmother who was Lilly Ann Rea (Ray) Grimsby from Co. Armagh.I found the area Grimsby was from, but there were many Reas and I'm not certain where her grandmother came from. Lilly Ann married in Canada probably 1848 , was in Kingston 1849, moved to Hamilton by 1853 Where is Lindsay relative to Kingston?

I am familiar with the Rea's of Omemee and Reaboro. I'm not sure of which one would be the midwife but I can ask a lady living there now who's elderly mother is still alive and may have an idea!
