Kay,
Your Robert Henry ReVille b. 1-1-1906, died on Aug 6, 1967 in Santa Barbara, CA.
This was also confirmed by Benjamin Reville, Jr. who stated his uncle died in CA.

Thank you, Linda Blackwelder, for that info.
Would you share any further info you may have. I will also, although I have very little.

Kay,
Robert Heyward Reville was my daughter-in-law's great-grandfather. Her father has given me some information but a lot of it is wrong. I have been to Forence and Darlington, SC to do the research on them but didn't find a lot. Here is what I have.
Robert Heyward Reville married to Fanny Burns on 11 Dec 1892 in Wilmington. (Ben, Jr. told that his wife was Sara, which I question) Robert Reville was born on 9 Jan 1870 in Forence Dist, SC. He died Aug 7, 1959. He is buried in Florence SC. Fanny was b. Jan 1872 in Wilmington (which is what I have, but I wonder if that is correct. I noted you said she was born somewhere else. Can you tell me where you got your information?) On Robert's death cert. it shows her name was Burris (but that may have been the 2nd wife) Fanny d. 21 Nov 1930 and is buried in Wilminton, NC in the Oakdale Cem.. Their children were:
1. William C. ReVille, b. 19 Sept 1893, m. 29 Nov 1915 in Wilmington to Ada Row Reynolds. He died Aug, 1963 in Florence, SC
2. Benjamin Tillman ReVille, Sr. b. 23 Jan 1899, m. 5 Dec 1920 to Mary Lou Land in Wilmington, NC, d. 25 Aug 1974 in Wilmington, NC. (This was my daughter-in-laws, grandfather)
3. Rebecca F. REville, b. 1902, m. 11 Jan 1920 in Wilminton to James Talmadge Land, She died in 1967 in Wilmington.
4. Fannie H. ReVille, b. 1904, m. 31 Dec 1922 in Wilmington to John H. Roper. Don't know when or where she died.
5. Robert T. Reville, b. 1906, married Alma ?, died in CA (this infor came from Ben Reville, Jr. and may not be correct)This is the one you are from. Ben did tell me that they had a daughter Kay. Are you that Kay?
6. James C. ReVille, b. 1909, Wilmington, d. 18 Jun 1925 in an accidental drowning in the Cape Fear River. He is buried at Oakdale Cem. where his mother is buried.
Robert Heyward ReVille was the son of James C. Reville and Fannie M. Burris. James C. Reville, b. 1 Nov 1841 in SC mar. about 1865 to Fannie Burris. He died 26 Feb 1910 in Wilmington, NC and is buried there. Fannie was b. 1842 in Kershaw Co., SC and died 11 July 1887 in Forence, SC. It is my understanding that they were seperated for years. He lived in Wilmington and she lived in Florence. The home in Florence was in her name according to the deeds but I don't know if they were actually divorsed or not. He was a Civil War Veteran. Their children were:
1. Dalman S. ReVille, b. Nov 1866 in SC
married 25 Oct 1888 in Wilmington to Emma E. Canady (don't know when he died)
2. James E. Reville, b. Feb 1868 in SC m. Annie E.? and possibly Loula J. ?
3. Robert Heyward Reville, (above)
4. Malivia (Malvina?) Reville, b. 1874 (nothing known about her.

The parents of James C. ReVille were John ReVille and Martha Boker? (Not sure about her name).
This is all I have been able to find on this family. Hope it will be some help.

Linda,
Thank you so much for this info. My parents were divorced in 1945 and I only saw my father twice after that. He disappeared in 1945 or 46. I did not know much about his family.
A lot of the info I have came from my daughter-in-law's father who was into geneology and got me started.
Most of your info agrees with mine except for the following:
My mother remembers that Fannie Burns was born in Timmonsville, S.C. I could not verify that myself. She remembered that Benjamin and Mary Lou had a daughter, but she and my father were divorced before Ben, Jr. Fannie and John Roper lived in New York and that is all I have on her. Robert Henry(not T) married Alma Williams 6/18/1928 in Florence SC I am thier daughter, Kay.
I don't have anything on Robert Hayward's wife being named Sara. Mother said Fannie Burns was her name.Mother is 90 and she can't remember a lot of details, but that she did remember. She thought a lot of her.
You said the info about Robert Henry dying in Ca. may not be correct. Is he dead? Why was he in Ca? The last place I knew of him being was Southport, NC. Rebecca(Beck) told me that one time. She said he took thier boat to Southport and left it there.
I did not have the info on James C Re Ville
and Fannie Burris. I really appreciate you sharing so much with me. I guess Ben Jr. and I are cousins and also your daughter-in-law too.(Hi Cousins, nice to know you). I wish I could be as helpful to you as you were to me but that is all I have. Please let me know if you find out more and I will do the same.
