Has anyone come across information on Griffen/Griffin Ray in their research? We have the 1870 Census listing him as being born in VA in 1817, living in Pittsburgh in 1870. We're trying to establish whether Griffen's son Wilbert as listed in that census is the same as our Wilbert, who was born in PA and moved to Syracuse, NY later on. Wilbert's wife was Mary Geis.
