Siblings Matthew, Ann, & Bridget Rawle came to Cincinnati, OH 1940's. Matthew operated an inn on the Ohio riverfront. He married the daughter of a southern steamboat captain, and they went to CA ca 1849, where he died March, 1870, aged 60. He may have had a daughter Ann Rawle who married Jerome Tyrrell in 1872.
Ann Rawle married Patrick Kelly 1843 in Cincinnati; nine children; she died before 1860.
Bridget Rawle married Thomas Smith in Cincinnati; had daughter Molllie Smith who married Wm. Thain, lived in northern KY.
Parents of Matthew, Ann, and Bridget are Patrick and Mary (unknown last name) Rawle. (sometimes spelled Rahl).
