Looking for information about my great-grandfather, George Lawrence Doty, born in Jersey City, New Jersey in November 1840 and died in NYC around 1900. He married Ellen Meagher in NYC and had a couple of children, one of whom was Madeline Cecilia, born on January 27, 1893 in NYC.
