I have read your message on the board posted some time ago about John Ratliff and Charlotte "Lottie" White. I am researching my grandmother's line. Her name was Julia Caroline Ratliff. daughter of Alexander Rufus Ratliff and Mary Jane Deskins. Alexander was the son of William M. Ratliff and Caroline Penelope Ward. William M. was the son of John and Charlotte White. I am trying to authenticate the relationship of John to William Rueben Ratclyffe and Elizabeth Harrison.
