My Grandfather came to America with the surname Ras - at Ellis island they added an H - I believe, and made it Rash. He was born early 1900's , Anthony was his name ; married my grandmother in America and had seven children. My father was the youngest. I don't know anything about my grandfathers family history; how many siblings etc.

My grandparents stayed in New York and raised their family - my grandfather passed away in 1963.
