I am trying to find my husband's father family. My husband's mother, Betty Northcott, was married to John Ramer, Arkansas. They divorced, when my husband was a baby. My husband's name is Gene Ramer. He has two siblings name of Richard and Linda. They all have the same father. My husband's mother has prevented them in past from locating their father but within past 2 years has give them some information. But to date we have not been able to locate their father, which he has been told has died by his mother, or father' s siblings/family. His father originally was from Heber Spring, Arkansas area and was raised there. John seems to be very popular name in the Ramer family. I am doing a family search of the Ramers in Arkansas to add to my Family tree. My Grandmothers name was Della her husband name was John Albert Ramer. They lived in Heber Springs Ark. They had three children John A and Clara and one Daughter I do not know her name but her nickname was toots. My mother Betty Northcott married John A in Oct 1948. That all I have to go on.
