Hello Mr. Hornby...if you are interested, the book that I have here by June McReynolds Ratcliff, "Our Ratcliff Heritage" has more about the early history of the Radclyffe names that you mention. I did not find a Mary of Orthswaite in her writing, but several other that you might like to have for your files.
