Looking for info about any of these families. My grandmother was Julia Caroline Ratliff, daughter of Alexander Rufus Ratliff married to Mary Jane Deskins, WV.Va area. I am trying to link our line to William Rueben (Ratclyffe) Ratcliffe and Elizabeth Harrison, who had son John who married Charlotte "Lottie" White. They had son William M. who married Caroline "Penelope" Ward. He was also married to a Frances McGlothin (spelling). There is a dispute as to whether or not we are related to this line which apparently links to the Dilston/Derwenwater line in England. I am also looking for a copy of "Devil's Water" by Anya Seton...not currently available on Amazon.com., and a copy of "Keepers of the Name and Blood", 1992 by Frances Arrigo Ratliff & "Some Descendants of Alexander Rufus Ratliff" by Larry Franklin Ratliff.
