On a recent visit to Middletown, New York my wife's coussin showed us some things she had of their Grandmother. One of which was a document( I took a photo of ) her Greartgrand Father gave to his wife and children., his discharge from the Union Army (Civil War). I also took a photo of Wedding Certificate that was their Grandmother's. When my mother-in--law died we managed to save a few hand wriitten and typed notes about the RACKETT family that had been written by Grandmother Almenda (RACKETT) Goble , my wife's granny. The list she wrote started with:

and
Rebecca Van Tuyle
June 13,1837
Offsping Jonathon W. RACKETT b.June,12th,1841
Under Births it starts with :
Joseph W. RACKETT Grandfather Aug.12th,1789
and goes on to list the rest of the family down though the years my mother-in-law add my name and my childrens names. I was wondering if anyone knows these names. I would like to hear from anybody that might have any knowledge of this family or would like the information I have.
