I'm responding to your request for information about the Raabes in WI. What years are you thinking of and what part of WI? I have Raabes in Milwaukee in 1880-1930 or so.

Surnames: Phillips, Nathan, Raabe, Sandstrom
My g-mother (Vera Rachael Phillips) Sandstrom (Widow of my fad, Frank August Sandstrom.) I met one of his cousins, Mrs Stanley O. Hansen 9n 1955. She lived in Chicago on Lake Shore Drive.
Vera Phillips Info:
b. 5/6/1877, Liverpool, ENG.,
d. 2/15/32, Chicago, Ill. (Buried @ Memorial Park Cemetary, Cook Cty. Illinois)
Her parents were:
Margaret Nathan, b. in Hartewood? ENG.
Phillips b. in London, ENG.
Note: Widowed, she lived in Chicago at the same address as Frances Q Raabe (always heard she lived with relatives) until her early death (cancer). As a young girl I learned of a possible Raabe family genealogy.
RING A BELL? IF SO, PLEASE CONTACT ME. TKS.

Surnames: SANDSTROM/RAAB(E)/PHILLIPS
Apologies that I JUST saw your note. I'm guessing anytime from late 1800s to 1932 when my paternal g-mother Vera Rachael Phillips Sandstrom died in Chicago. Living w/her was Frances O. Raab (or) Raabe, perhaps. I was born in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1940. My father's cousin, Mrs. Sophie O. Hansen lived with her husband, Stanley, on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Ill. in the mid 1950s. I met her twice. Have reason to believe the Raab(e) connection is on my fathers' side of the family. If this resonates with you, please contact me at fltla@msn.com. Thanks so much!
