Hi guys. I'm actually putting this topic up as I'm creating a group on Facebook name "QUACH|ies" Please feel free to add and have a discussion there! I'm interested to see how many Quach's out there so far I know atleast 5 family here in Melbourne Australia non-related.
I've spoke to my parents about my background and it's similar to what all you guys posted. My dad is from china then migrated to Vietman. He speaks chinese/viet and teo chow and my mum also speaks those 3 languages as well.

my last name of course is Quach. My family follows the Mandarin character. Although, in english we don't pronounce it according to the chinese way, instead we pronounce it in the english way. odd i know. anyways, my father was born in vietnam, and my mom was from china. My father side is full chinese, so is my mother. So, i'm full chinese, of course. I don't know much about the history, because my parents don't talk about it. My family speaks hokkien/fukkien (if you guy know what language that is, if not its similar to Taiwanese, but its not directly full Taiwanese). Its very awkward.
