Interested in contacting anyone with Pytel ancestors who were Jewish. I'm particularly interested in those who came from Brzeziny or Glowno, but also from other towns around Lodz. I may have some information for you. Contact me at hafcjf@aol.com

Betty,
Are your ancestors Jewish? I ask since Victoria and John sound more like Christian names. In researching the Pytel name in Poland, I found that it was fairly common among both groups. I'm afraid I don't know much about the Christian Pytels. Our gr-gr-grandmother was a Pytel and, in searching through Jewish records, I made some notes on other Jewish Pytels. I'm hoping to connect with some of those folks. Contact me at hafcjf@aol.com if you think there's a fit.

Surnames: PYTEL
I married into the Pytel family of Fall River, Massachusetts. My husband's grandparents are from Poland -- all his Pytels are Christian.
