I am so sure that Anna is my dad's sister. My dad is Morris, the youngest of 11 or 12. Anna, is the oldest, correct? My dad's name was John and mother was Lizzie Fritz. John remarried to an Anna Pysher?

Hi Missy,
I think that we may be cousins. My mother is Anna, My grandfather was John, his first wife was Lizzie Fritz, His second wife was Della. There were 6 girls, 4 boys in their family. Morris is my uncle. Actually he and I are the same age and went to school together. I saw him at a family picnic on Sunday. Mary

Joni,
It sounds possible that we may be related. Do you know your father's birthdate?
Do you know the family at all? Or keep in contact?
What exactly are you looking for?

Hi Mary. I am sorry, but I have not been on here in a while. My dad has mentioned you before, I think. Did you, by chance, go to my wedding? I thought that Anna came with her daughter, but I could be mistaken?

You mentioned that there were 6 girls and 4 boys. I believe there's more....

Girls: Mabel, Bertha, Lois, Edna, Anna, Elsa, Eva, Aunt Lois and my dad believe there was another girl that died young.

Boys: Morris, Allan, Clair, one more...can't think of it.

My dad always told me John's second wife's name was Anna; interesting.

I would love some more information if you have any. Maybe there were less kids? Everytime I look into it I find more and more information (there are SO many Pysher's) that it is overwhelming! I really need to buckle down and get it together. :)

I have no idea what to say, but I wanted to just say "Hi". Glad that I can finally introduce myself; as much as I can over the computer anyway. I had no idea that you posted since this is the first time I've been on here in years.

Hope all is well!

Hi Missy,
I think perhaps it was my sister that went with my mother to your wedding. I am sorry that I missed it, but I do think that I met you at a family picnic a few summer's back. It was at Bobby Kutz's place (our cousin-Aunt Bertha's son).
I was incorrect about the number of siblings that your Dad had. I do not know about the child that died and I never really think about Elza (I am not sure of the spelling...my mother always pronounced it Ill-za. ) She was a half sister and never really lived with the family. She was raised by the grandparents.
The boys were Allen, Ezra, Claire, Morris.
Our grandfather's second wife was named Della (I think it was Adella but shortened.) I remember calling her Della and I did check with my mother. Her last name was Pysher prior to her marrying our Grandfather because her first husband was also a Pysher. She is buried next to her first husband, rather than with our Grandfather.
Do you realize that there is a Pysher Family Reunion every summer in the Martin's Creek area? I think it is usually the second Sunday in August. They have a geneologist who can give you information back to when the first Pysher came over from Germany/Switzerland in the early 1700's.
