Alex Pyschak immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1913 from Lisko, Austria-Hungarian Empire. If you have any information that can help start a family tree, please contact. Variation could be Pischak.

Do you think we're related? I have also entered information in the world message board in Russia and Ukraine, so you can check there, too.
Family names are:

Ioan Ochwat-Malashowski
Anna Yarchak
Maria Havanchak
Basil Pyskach
Agatha Kohut

Does any of this help?

I didn't get a reply from you regarding if the information was helpful. If those names sound right, I can send the little bit more that I have.

Please reply.

Its been a while since you've been on. I hope you still check once in a while. I have my mothers baptisimal paper and her God parents or sponsors were Catherina Pyszcsak, the spelling is very hard to read and her husband was Simeon. I am trying every which way to spell the last name. Yours was the closest, can you help? My mother was Rosalia Markiv from the Ukraine. My mothers date of birth was 1914. Thank you.

Change my email to klbeck@cox.net. Don't know how to on this site.
Don't think I can help you, the name doesn't sound familiar. Alexi Pyskach or Piskach (SS record spelling) was from Torun, Austia-Hungary. Very confusing area to research. Let me know if you find anything. Thanks.

My surname was Markiv and I have done successful research on the family in Ukraine. Wonder if there are any connections?

Hi, glad to hear from anyone about this name. I think part of the family, a
brother, moved to Ohio but my Dad's side never had any contact with them. All
my info is at home since I am traveling right now. I will contact you again,
promise, early next week. My grandfather was Alexi Pyschak, and my grandmother
was Sofia Ochwat-Malachowski and they lived in Muddy, IL for a time and settled
in Uniontown, PA. Please keep in contact and let me know what you have. Thanks,
Karen
