My father was Woodrow Wilson Pyron. His father was Frank Albert...and works back to Albert Delphia Pyron. I am interested in finding out if there was any Native American Indians in the familoy and if they might have been listed on any of the rolls. I have been told by several family members that the Pyrons did have some Choctaw in the family but I need some type of proof. If there is any one out there that coud help me shed some light on this please let me know.

Thanks Michael

Teresa,
I am researching the Stoker line, and have come across some common forms of spelling the name Stoker, Stokes, Stucker.
Delpha Stoker is in my line, and married to a John Pyron. Delpha was born abt 1770 in Amelia Co. VA, to Robert Stoker JR. and Sarah Elizabeth Allen. Robert was the first US born member in my family, his father Robert SR. immigrated here in the early 1700's from Durham England. Delpha was one of the first of twelve children born to Robert and Sarah.
If this is the same Delpha (Delphia) in your line, she is not Indian. Confusion reigns!
thanks for listening
