Mary,

I have a Richard Pyott, possibly born in Upper Darby, Pa in 1785 and died in 1860. His parents were James Pyott and Roseanna Kearns. James is the son of John Pyott and Deborah Brunson?(not sure of Deborah's last name. They also had a son Amos, who is my ggg grandfather (1771-1848). I do not know if this is who you are looking for or not, but if it is and you have any more info, I'd love to have it.

Hi Christi, I don't have much on Richard but I do believe that he was the son of James and Rose. An abstract of her will mentions him. Have you found James in the 1790 census? Was Amos the brother of James or of Richard?

Mary,
I am unsure of the connections. Amos actually spells his name Piatt. I assume he and James were brothers. Any mention in her will of other children?

Christi, Here's what the abstract says. Unfortunately, it doesn't mention all of the children by name.

Daughter Elizabeth wife of George BLANKLY and daughter Mary, sons James,

children of son James - mentions children of other December'd.
