Boy do I feel stupid. I did not even look at my John William Pyott info. Was he married to Martha Mounger? If so I have that they had 9 children, 1 of which was Caledonia. She married W H Shearman and she died 7-8-1956 in Chicago. This is really all I have on her, except some info on her brothers and sisters.

Yes, this is the same family. Apparently they moved to Chicago and later divorced. They had three children, I just found out the youngest son was killed as a pilot in WW1. Just got a picture of him.
Thanks

George D. Pyott

Dear Marilyn,
I am looking for any information on George D. Pyott born 1862 probably in Upper Darby, Pa. George D. Pyott married Emmeline Denise and they had 5 children: George,Sara,Irene,Florence(my grandmother) and Howard. George D. Pyott worked for the Atlas Moving Co. as a driver. My mother told me that she has a cousin Nancy Pyott Hammer who had married a ski instructor and moved to Colorado. She thought that Nancy was an only child. Also, she said that Nancy's parents names were George (different George than my great-grandfather)and Edith. I am looking for George D. Pyott's parents names and also any siblings he might have had. Also, George D. Pyott and Emmeline at one time lived in Phila. with their five children and they later moved to Camden County, NJ. Do these Pyott's look familier to you? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Nancy

You mentioned having a copy of John Pyott's will. I would be very interested in getting a copy if he is either John Pyott I or II who both lived in Loudon, VA in the 1700's. They are my ggg and gggg grandfathers. My maiden name is Pyott.

There is no proof that Deborah's maiden name was Brunson.
She and husband mentioned in Phebe Blunston' s will as
legatees

Hi,

I'm yet another distant cousin...Richard Pyott is my gggg-grandfather. There are census records that place him in Darby and perhaps Springfield, PA. Also online I found military records about two different Richard Pyotts/Piatts (or possibly the same), one supposedly born 1787, one 1781, serving during or just after the War of 1812. While neither of these is 1785, both are close and in the right geographic area (Delaware and Chester counties, which adjoin in SE PA), so I think it's likely one of these is my Richard.

I am interested in learning more about his family (James and John, the father of your Amos). Did I understand correctly that they were from Loudoun County, Virginia? If so, did James or Richard migrate to Delaware County, PA? And of course, I, too, would be interested in seeing John Pyott's will, as well.

Take care,
David

Robin,

Hope you are still out there. I am looking for information on the parents of Mary Eblen, wife of John Pyott. Her parents were John William Eblen and Mary Warner. I would like information on any of the four, including any of Mary's siblings. You may write to me at jsbthomas@gmail.com if you wish.
