Hi:
We are from Emporium,Pa. I was to Emporium this summer and have a picture of the tombstone that has Forrest C. Pye 1879-1938 Elsie (wife) 1886-19-- They are burried in the Morrison Cemetary outside of emporium. Emporium is not a coal mining town. Our relatives were all into lumbering and working in the dynamite plants in the area. My grandfather William Francis died in a dynamite explosion in 1916. What is the relationship of Forrest and William Francis. Was Forrest (Duke ?) I would like to correspond more and find out about our Canadian relatives. My Dad used to say his father was a Whaler in Nova Scotia is that correct. Also was Forrest a brother to William. I also saw their naturalization papers on my trip last year. I live near Buffalo and Emporium is a 3 hour trip. My e-mail is
ronman35@yahoo.com. Hope to hear more from you. Emporium has a neat little library (genealogy section) I did see Forrest's grave it is in a small little cemetary.
