Bill:
I don't have a thing on Jarvis Pye but my Grandpa was William Tatomer, as was yours I'm sure. I wish you had as much on the Tatomer line as you do on your mom's. If I can help with the Tatomers, let me know. I have a little. Or maybe even a medium.

Re: Jarvis Pye of Ireland
I am a descendant of Eliza Pye and George Reeves. George and Eliza and their first child, Eliza, arrived in Montreal, Quebec in 1843. George took a position with the King's Customs. Their second child Anna was born in Montreal. The moved to Seneca Falls, NY where there third child, George Jarvis Reeves was born in 1847. They moved again to Simcoe, On where their last child, John, was born. In 1853 Eliza, the mother, died. Her father paid to have her remains sent back to Cork, Ire to be buried. The father went back to Montreal to regain his job with Customs. The children went to live with the Eddy family at their farm on the Town Line Road a few miles north of Oakland, On. I have pix of all 6 members of the family.

Re: Jarvis Pye of Ireland
Hello James Thomas,
My name is Nicole Reeves. Jarvis Pye is one of my ancestors. His daughter Eliza married my 3rd great grandfather George Reeves. I do not have any info about Jarvis, but my Father might, since he did our geneology for many years past. Send me a message if you would like or still need info on Jarvis Pye and can also let my father know you are looking for info.
Thank you!

Re: Jarvis Pye of Ireland
To my knowledge Jarvis Pye was Harbour Master of Cohb, Ireland, the port for Cork, Ireland. He married twice, the triumph of Hope over Experience. He had at least one child by his first wife, a daughter, Eliza. He had no issue with his second wife. She was essentially a nurse. Eliza married George Reeves. Both were English. George worked for the King's Customs at the port. They had their first child, Eliza, at Cork, The family of three sailed for Montreal, British North America in 1843. Jarvis Pye was the son of Admiral Sir Thomas Pye. He was Commander of the British Fleet in the Bahamas during the American Revolution. George Reeves is my G-G-Grandfather. Frederick Albert Reeves U.E.
