Edwin Johnston Pybus & Thomas Kitchenson Pybus
Edwin Johnston Pybus, born 1847, Manchester, Lancs and Thomas Kitchenson Pybus, born 1848, Manchester, to Thomas and Jane Pybus. Thomas was a Saddler from Ripon, and I have been searching for possible sons, without success until today. Someone else found them for me. They had been born in Manchester. When they were 4 and 3 years old respectively, they were back living in Bedale, Yorkshire, and later moved to Ripon. Anyone with connections to these two.

Correction: Edwin Johnson Pybus & Thomas Hutchinson Pybus
Kitchenson was an enumerators error on the census form. Edwin was born June Qtr. of 1846, and Thomas in the March Qtr. of 1848. Johnson was their mothers surname at birth, it was later changed to Mallaby on her mothers marriage to a Peter Mallaby. Hutchinson was their paternal grandmothers maiden name.

Re: Edwin Johnston Pybus & Thomas Kitchenson Pybus
There are Pybus families farming in and around the border between County Durham and North Yorkshire at the end of the 1900s. One, Jane Pybus, married into my family tree

Do you have any more information about this Jane, ancestors or descendants ?

Jane Pybus married Robert Kirkley, a stonemason from Byers Green Co Durham. They had a daughter Elizabeth Anne who was my great grandmother.

Hi Phillip To which Pybus are you related back in the mid 1800's, do you know? Am just wondering if you're not related to my husband, Rupert Pybus, from "way back when". I'm in Cape Town, South Africa. Regards Jenneke Pybus
