Mike,
I'm sure that we are related some kind of way because the name pyant is not a very common name. Just wondering what the connection is. Help. My grandfather's name was Edward (died in Akron, Ohio), met him as a little girl. My grandmother's name was Edna. They had three children named: Charles, Jaqueline and James Pyant all from Columbus,OH. Uncle Charles died a while ago (although they still show him living on Sharonwood), And Aunt Jackie just passed away January 2001. My sister Sharon passed away May 2000. What info can you share with me? You can e-mail at:

I had worked on my family tree many years ago but kept running into brick walls. I have moved back home and all of my genealogy records are in storage now. Won't be getting a place for about a month from now and will then have access to all of my belongings.

It's a very good possibility. Like I said in my other post, "PYANT" is not a very common name. If you would like you can e-mail me so that we may figure it out. I've been working on the family tree for over 18 years.
