Hi all, trying to get back on to the trail of the Puxley family(ies) - any interest or collaboration welcome.

Mostly London connections, but interested in any and all groups.

Seeing as you have a lot of information concerning Puxley's is London, do you have an idea of when puxleys moved to canada. I believe we are one of the only puxley families in canada and have been wondering where we come from (roots). If you have any information, please let us know.

Thanks

Hey there,

Just checking in to learn more about other Puxleys, both Canadian and otherwise. Ed here is a member of the Cannon-Puxley group and most of his immediate Puxley relatives are from Ottawa, Quebec, and here in the Maritimes.

Hi there, great to hear from you! I don't have any info on the Canada Puxleys, but I would love to stay in touch and find out more. I was in contact with some Cannon people a while back however. Am about to go on leave for a few weeks, so will get in touch after that. Arlie Stafford

Hi Brenda, if only I did have such information - I'd be glad to share it with you. Can we keep in touch regardless? I'm sure that 'we' all link up somehow, it's just a matter of how. I got another email from some Canadian Puxleys on this board that might interest you. More later. Arlie Stafford

I do love a speedy reply! Very excited to know all about your Puxleys. By way of short introduction, mine, or more correctly my husband's, were all from London and came out to Australia at the beginning of 1900's. There are actually a few '2nd' generation Puxleys still alive, and I hope to meet with one or two while I'm on home leave - will be asking all kinds of questions if they are up to it. Stay tuned! If he has relatives in Quebec, we are definatly related seeing as we are the only puxley family in Quebec. You wouldn't happen to be related to Alan and Susan puxley would you?

Hi Arlie,
I believe that the other canadian puxley's on this site are directly related to us. There is only one puxley family in canada. Ed puxley is probably one of my cousins. Would it be possible to keep me posted if you hear anyone say that they have a family tree. My father (Donald Puxley) has been searching for any information whatsoever about our family. He's been around the world and looks through phone books just to figure out where we come from. So if you hear anything, please let me know.
Thanks

Strangely enough, he is. But I think you already know that... when we were responding to the thread, Ed said "I wonder if that's my cousin Brenda...". What a small world! :D
