Clarence Ernest Putnam was born on September 13, 1910 to Ernest and Ellen Putnam in McKenzie County, North Dakota. He went to be with Jesus on April 8, 2005 at the age of 94 years, 6 months and 29 days.

Clarence was a farmer and painter by trade. He farmed until 1989. He then sold his farms and retired.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 70+ years, Mabel: daughter, DeAnna and son-in-law, Marty Pedrick; 3 nieces, Phyllis Nichols, Omae Wolf and Ellen Hart; 1 nephew, Donald Gene Julian; and numerous friends in many states.

Clarence was preceded in death by his father; mother; sister and also his half-sister.
