I am a volunteer who is currently working on indexing the 1940 census and I came across Alden Purrington and family of Bristol, Connecticut, as one of the names I indexed. I do not know if he is in anyone's tree or not, but I thought I would put this out because a mistake is being made. After submitting my work, his name was changed to Currington. I have no recourse to change it. I have contacted the LDS before about these kinds of situations and they tell me what is done is done. Just thought I would let you know just in case you will be looking for him once the census has been fully indexed and released.
