Joseph was my great great grandfather. He have born in 1832 in Mattapoisett, Mass but the date could be wrong. He did marry Francis (Fanny) and died in June, 1908 in Graton,CA Fanny also died in Graton in 1910 or 11. Their son was Samuel Walter Purrington born Jan 1, 1861 at Two Rock, CA.
